One wine of absolute quality
Ayden Tyler is the realized dream of merging the dynamic growing conditions of Paso Robles with European winemaking techniques that blur the line between cutting edge and archaic. Together, we set out to create a single wine dedicated to the pursuit of uncompromising quality; a wine that is both a thought provoking vino da meditazione and true vino da tavola. This singular mission shapes every vintage, today and for generations to come.
Current Vintage
2016
The 2016 vintage was enigmatic – marked by high summer temperatures and a long growing season. Timely rainfall and a continuation of mild and dry conditions throughout the year allowed the grapevines to support the slightly higher-than-expected yields.
The 2016 Ayden Tyler exudes bold aromas of freshly crushed raspberries and blueberries that give way to a concentrated blend of red cherry, blackberry and black cherry flavors that grip the palate. Finely-grained tannins offer a velvety texture and complex structure that builds to a long, vibrantly fresh finish with a touch of tobacco. Enjoyable now, the wine will delight for years to come.

Freddie Styles
A native of Georgia, Freddie is a committed abstractionist, although references to nature have been at the center of his paintings and collages throughout his long career. He is an avid gardener, and the distinction between this passion and his passion for making art is blurred – each symbiotically informing the other.
For the past several years, Freddie Styles has been creating works of uncommon and resonating beauty. In a truly unique process, Styles presses layers of crinkled fax paper (the old-fashioned coated type) onto wet acrylic paint on silver coated gessoed paper. The kaolin coating on the fax paper adheres to the drying acrylic paint, some of the silver paint is revealed which creates another layer of depth to the works. During this process some of the paint adheres to the strips of fax paper, which are recycled to create his “Evolving” and “Silver Trees” series of collages. Styles’ process informs his work, and the outcome of each piece is unpredictable. In other words, the artist is both controlling and relinquishing control of his materials, and this conceptual stance is his departure point.
